Blues Side Up is a Montreal-based blues band which began a couple of years ago. Formed out of seasoned studio musicians who wanted to go out and play live, Blues Side Up has been playing the local music scene, performing at Smoke Meat Pete's, La Petite Boite, Unik Bar and the Dakota, to name a few.
The present lineup consisits of:
Rich James (vocals and lead guitar)
Steve Flam (vocals and bass)
Magic Dan (harmonica player extraordinaire)
Rob Black (drums and vocals)
Blues Side Up has worked in close cooperation with other musicians, most notably Jules Cacchione.
